The Story:
Bought a new house in Downers Grove in 2009. Originally had a small patio with an Elm tree. Had to remove Elm (Emerald Ash Borer); so decided to replace and expand patio (2011). We used a local (Downers Grove) patio/landscaper and 6 years ago we noticed a big section was sinking. We hired a firm to fix and noticed last year it was sinking again. This spring I called Rutillio (Rudy) and he came out and assessed the situation. He said he could fix it, but the base was not originally installed correctly and we would have same problem in the future. He recommended replacing base. Upon removal of base a big, buried tree stump (decomposing)(not from the Elm) was found. The original "local" landscaper covered over it. Rudy's firm dug it out, replaced the base with new gravel and preceded to lay our new patio. As they were replacing bricks on our stoop, Rudy saw that the original firm did not properly put enough support under the stairs and stoop. He corrected that problem as well.
Highly recommend him and Adan landscaping.
Professional, great work ethic, and honest.
